Al Wefaq Jordanian Automotive is looking for a Chief Accountant to lead the full accounting cycle, monthly and annual closing, prepare IFRS‑compliant financial statements and management reports, manage landed costs, supplier payments, customer deposits, inventory reconciliation, service revenue tracking, tax filings, e‑invoicing compliance, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and internal controls for annual external audit.
Core Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferably from German Jordanian University, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, or the University of Jordan.
• At least 8 years of experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry and car dealerships.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Jordanian tax, customs, and social security rules.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and JoFotara; Odoo is preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or JCPA certification is preferred.
• Fluent Arabic and strong English.
