1. Our Privacy Commitment & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, safeguarded, and handled across the Jordan Jobs platform (JoJobHub) and the Android application "Jordan Jobs" (com.jojobhub.app), developed and operated by Ziad Qafisheh (Softians). It applies to all users of our website and mobile application in Jordan and internationally. Browsing and applying for job opportunities is 100% free of charge, and we never request banking information or fees to access vacancies.

Important Notice & Disclaimer: Jordan Jobs (JoJobHub) and its mobile app are an independent, private career discovery platform. It is NOT a government entity, does NOT represent the Jordanian Ministry of Labour or any government agency in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and has no official governmental affiliation or endorsement. Job openings are indexed from verified employer submissions and public corporate career portals to assist job seekers.
3. Data Collected by the Android App & Purposes
In accordance with Google Play Data Safety requirements, here is the exact breakdown of data processed by the mobile application:
Full name, email address, phone number, and targeted career sector. Purpose: Account registration, sign-in authentication, and syncing saved jobs. Passwords are cryptographic salted hashes (scrypt) and never stored in plain text.
The app logs anonymous technical events such as screen views, search keywords, filters applied, application button taps, and session duration. Purpose: App stability, error tracking, and optimizing job discovery. No personal identity data is attached to analytics records.
The app generates an anonymous local installation UUID (visitor_id) and session ID to organize analytics sessions without accessing hardware identifiers (no IMEI, MAC address, or mandatory advertising IDs are read).

5. Account & Data Deletion Policy
In strict compliance with Google Play Data Deletion requirements, users have full control to permanently delete their account and associated data through two direct paths:
Open the app, navigate to "Settings" -> tap the red "Permanently delete my account" button -> enter your password to confirm. Your account profile, email, phone, active sessions, and saved jobs are immediately and permanently purged from our servers.
If you have uninstalled the app or prefer web-based deletion, you can request immediate account deletion through our official page:
Retention period: Account data is retained only while active. Upon a deletion request, data is erased immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
6. Data Security & No-Sale Commitment
Encryption in Transit: All communications between the Android application and our backend APIs, as well as website traffic, are fully encrypted using modern HTTPS and SSL/TLS protocols to prevent eavesdropping or interception.
We strictly commit that we do NOT sell, lease, rent, or trade user personal data to third-party advertising companies, data brokers, or any external entities under any circumstances.
7. Google Advertising & Cookies (Website Only)
Our website (not the mobile app) works with third-party advertising vendors, including Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits across the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or through www.aboutads.info.
8. Third-Party Career Links & External Channels
Job cards provide direct application channels submitted by employers (such as WhatsApp, email, phone dialer, or external career portals). When clicking these external links, your interactions are governed by their respective privacy policies, which we encourage you to review before submitting your CV.
9. Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Our service is designed for job seekers and graduates of legal working age (18+). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under age 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for immediate deletion.
10. Contact Inquiries, Alerts & Vacancy Expiry
• Vacancy duration: Default listing duration is 30 days from publication and listings are automatically retired upon expiry.
• Job alerts: Email alert preferences are stored to deliver matching opportunities and users can unsubscribe at any time.
